My name is Genevieve McCorkindale, I recently graduated from Lincoln University at the end of 2025 with a Bachelors in Landscape Architecture (with Honors), Majoring in Environmental Management. I’m a Landscape Architecture graduate with a strong interest in ecological design, planting plans, and creating meaningful outdoor spaces that connect people with nature.
Through study, hands-on nursery experience, and my own planting design business, I’ve developed practical skills in environmental planning, native planting, and customer-focused design solutions. I’m especially passionate about restoration projects, sustainable landscapes, and helping clients bring their outdoor spaces to life.
Why Choose Us
My final year major design project was focused on improving a major passion of mine, the water quality and wetland network of Te Waihora Lake Ellesmere. Something that I feel is transferable into both farms and residential properties.
I chose to focus on Te Waihora as I grew up in Doyelston, 5 minutes from the lake and spent many hours through preschool and primary school at the lake planting native plants. This project provided me with the opportunity to develop ideas that take into account the local community, organisations and council perspectives.
